I'm like the responsible but hilarious relative and stage manager with the mic.

Relax and Enjoy your Night!

Talking marks in orange and white striped pattern

As the name suggests, she explodes with funkiness, teamed with so much wit and charm - She was/is our type of person and managed to nail every aspect of our quirky and unique relationship in one script!

We loved Klara so much, when we decided to split our wedding into two separate days, we not only had her be our official celebrant for the ceremony, we also invited her back to MC our reception and all of our guests couldn't stop complimenting her style, humour and of course her signature funky leopard print suit!”— Aimee & Way

You have questions? I have answers!

The Legals

  • First of all, we’ll have a cyber catch-up or face to face wine or coffee and you can see if you like the cut of my jib!

Assuming you do, the first and most important step is filling out your Notice of Intent to Marry form (NOIM).

Oh and I require a $300 date-holding, non-refundable deposit to get things locked in. (The balance is due two weeks before the day)

We can now take our time as I get to know you both, along with your wants and needs.

  • It must be submitted to me no less than a month before the wedding date. This is a legal requirement and not negotiable.

  • Well yes actually, there is the possibility to apply to Birth Deaths and Marriages (BDM) for a shortening of time consideration.

I must warn you though, the circumstances allowed are extremely specific and limited and it’s way easier to just get the paperwork sorted early so we don’t need to go through any of these admin dramas.

  • Either:

    Passport OR

Birth Certificate or Extract (original or photo of original) plus one more form of photo ID

Previously married? - A Decree Absolute of Divorce

    Widowed? - A Death Certificate

  • Easy! Follow this link for how to apply for a copy!

  • Yes, as long as I site it before the day that is fine, the NOIM can still be filled out without it.

  • That’s ok; we only need one signature initially to make it legal. As long as we grab theirs before the day, we’re fine!

The Ceremony

  • Yes absolutely, I encourage it! There are some compulsory legal words that must be included in order for your marriage to be declared legal, but other than that, I can send you some ripper resources for helping you express your love just right!

  • I will print them out on a card, in lovely big font, for you to read from on the day.

Alternatively, I can read them to you a few words at a time and you then repeat after me. Up to you!

  • At least 45 minutes.

  • I do have an awesome PA (for both mic and music) and use it if needed, especially for out-door weddings with 40+ people.

Under that, it tends to be fine to go without. Of course; it’s up to you.

There is no extra cost involved!

The Location

  • Yes I do. I love road trips and as long as the travel and accommodation are covered, I’m in!

  • Yes absolutely, however, I strongly recommend an in-door back-up plan because…well… Melbourne!

The Stuff people ask me

  • Most of the work towards a special ceremony happens beforehand. There will be meetings, emails, and phone calls and lots of admin and creative writing on my end.

You will have access to my online portal, bursting with a myriad of examples of ceremonies and vows, music, readings and ring-exchange wording.

I am there for assistance and guidance from the moment you make the decision to book me until well after the day in question.

Because you can’t put a price on personality… or maybe you can!

  • Not a problem! You may have married in the past and not be interested in going down that road again, or you just may not be the marrying kind but you don’t want to miss out on the fun and games of a wedding. Whatever the reason, we can discuss it all and without the legal requirements, you are free to do whatever you like! What fun we’ll have putting it together!

  • I am a firm believer in marriage equality and am absolutely thrilled that the law has finally changed to include all.

  • Since covid, this has become a reality for all wedding suppliers so I can assure you, we have the system down-pat.

I'll just reach out to my awesome network and find you a replacement that's (almost) as great as me and you won't have to stress at all.

Can’t find the answer to your question, or are you ready to book?
